Career Report
When I first started at UD, I was a sport management major with no clue what I wanted to do. After two years of sport management study and getting experience in the industry, I decided it wasn't for me. At the time, I was also enrolled in an introductory finance class, which I found very interesting and the material came easy to me. At the end of the semester, I switched majors to Finance. By my second semester of my junior year, I was taking upper level finance courses, but I still didn't know what I wanted to do. Luckily, I was taking a class at the time which required me to explore career options and compose a report on it. After doing a lot of research and taking several career tests online, I narrowed it down to two options which are a Training and Development Specialist and a Management Analyst/Consultant. Below you will find the pdf of my report as well as the results of my career leader assessment.

Informational Interviews
During the first semester of my senior year, with the guidance of my mentor, I decided that Human Resources was the general area I'd like to pursue a career in. To learn more, I reached out to alumni in the field to conduct informational interviews to find out more about the area and what is like working in the field. Not only did I find out more about the careers in these fields, but I also expanded my network, discovered an HR-focused registered student organization on campus, and attended an amazing job-shadowing day with Untracht Early to find out more about the day-to-day operations within an organization. In conclusion, I will soon start applying to HR positions in northern NJ to start my career upon graduation.
