Personal groupwork statement: John Maxwell said it best when he said teamwork makes the dreamwork. And the best teams, I've found, use each other's strengths and collaborate to create fantastic results. Doing what you're good at is usually enjoyable and environments where people are enjoying themselves are more efficient, effective, and open for constructive feedback.

      Wilmington Green Box is a 501c(3) non-profit dedicated to providing at-risk teens with entrepreneurial jobs while supplying urban city communities with access to cold-pressed juices and healthy goods. WGB was built to alleviate the symptoms of food insecurity and help at-risk youth escape the negative impacts of their environment and find employment.

      Conflict Management Style/Philosophy: The best way to deal with conflict is to first acknowledge it. If you are displeased with something, mention it. As long as you bring up an issue in a non-accusatory way, most people will be receptive to your input. Since my biggest saboteur is people pleaser, I've learned to recognize when my plate is full and offer to help others only after I've finished most of what's on my plate. This prevents me from splitting my focus and overwhelming me with too much work at once. I've also learned to just say no if the task is too big or if I cannot help them.
