As great as it is to boast about my strengths, it is also crucial to identify your saboteurs to see how it impacts your work and personal life. Saboteurs are patterns of thinking, feeling, and reacting that impede your ability to be happy and effective. By recognizing your own and others' saboteurs, you can work more cohesively. Here are my top 3 saboteurs.

True Colors

True Colors is a short, effective personality style test that puts you into one of four categories or should I say colors. The colors are orange, gold, green, and blue. Since I am a blue, I will focus primarily on explaining that personality type and what it means for me. If you'd like to know about the other colors, visit https://truecolorsintl.com/the-four-color-personalities/

Blues can often be described as warm, compassionate, empathetic, responsible, and can sometimes be referred to as the "drama queens" of the personality types. People with the blue personality type need recognition, strong relationships, freedom of expression, and like a sense of community. Some stressors typically include chaos, broken promises, and dishonesty. From a leadership standpoint blues tend to generate energy, nurture, motivate, and acknowledge solid work. Blues are somewhat rare as well. Only about 15% of the population identify as a blue. After taking the assessment and reflecting on the results, I've come to the conclusion that blue accurately depicts my personality best.
